COLLAGUA I&D S.A.

COLLAGUA INVERSIONES & DESARROLLO S.A. (Collagua Investments and Development SA) was founded in 1999 to foment businesses and is a member of the GRUPO INCA located in Arequipa, Perú. Collagua invests in small businesses, principally those involved in sectors such as exports, agro-industry, tourism, recycling, and in services related to those activities. The system in operation demands that the promoter of a project acquire, year by year, the shares owned by Collagua in the undertaking. In order to do this, the promoter-partner must destine the whole of the profits obtained to this purpose.

What is the objective?

The objective is to set up new business people whose ideas or projects have potential, but whose resources are insufficient to exploit that potential in practice. In this way, Collagua collaborates with the region's development.

What we expect from the investment?

A. The development of new entrepreneurs and fomenting the creation of a large number of small businesses in the south of the country.
B. To promote investments which are profitable for both the investor and the business created.
C. The generation of new jobs.
D. To provide incentives for creativity and increase the added value applied by the business.

Who may participate?

Participation is open to anyone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and worthy, viable and profitable ideas or projects related to those sectors already mentioned. It is important to have an unblemished track record, a dynamic outlook, and operational know-how in the management of the business.

What papers have to be presented?

At the initial stage, a brief project profile; and subsequently, the following documents:

1. Information relevant to the project.
2. Description of the project or service.
3. The proposed organization.
4. Market analysis
5. Market strategy
6. Sales system
7. Production system
8. Investment Plan
9. Economic and financial evaluation.

As soon as all these documents are accepted, a Do Not Do contract will be signed in which Collagua I&D undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the project and not to divulge it without the authorization of the promoters; furthermore, not to carry out any other similar project for the term of six months.
